This
dance explores material that crosses boundaries between
concert dance performance and Drag King aesthetic. Two
female dancers dressed up as Elvis Presley with wigs,
sideburns, sunglasses, etc. - dance to Elvis music and
move like Elvis. Halfway through the dance, they begin
to confront one another in a way that is both competitive
and comrade-like, struggling to rectify their troubling
double vision.
